I am with the establishment of a "poor mans" home-entertainment / prospects surround sound system. I have some great speakers soon, I'm ready to use. I'm just sure what to use for a preamp or receiver to get there.

It is fairly easy to improve the tone of the TV .. Choose an amplifier / receiver at a flea market.
