Yes you can, but you must be VAT on its customers and has been associated with business.There is a gross turnover should be able to earn at least registered.I before the VAT on your 50K. Believe me, doing the tax return and remain at a book-worm in an attempt to work a large headache.May is save a few pounds but cost many hours.

Only businesses can register for VAT and must register if your turnover exceedds £ 64K over a period of 12 months. Then VAT to their customers and pay HMRC, net of VAT paid on purchases. However, the VAT is recoverable on the purchase of motor vehicles not.
